Fireflies (Commissioned Piece)

The request was clear. A piece inspired by fireflies, with lights that could be turned on and off. The timing could not have been more perfect. Only weeks before, I had wandered into the wilderness to witness the magic of fireflies dancing in the dark. This piece is a translation of that moment, capturing the flicker of light that feels almost otherworldly.

Each piece holds a story, but it does not begin or end with me. The joy is in letting it be what you see. Some may find colour, others may find memory. Some may notice the textures, others the gaps. This work is not born from sorrow or heaviness. It often begins in joy, in quiet wonder, or a moment that felt full.
